  • Every download is an MP4 file up to 500 MB, which plays on any phone or computer.

Questions

Will the Short have sound?

Yes. Audio and video are combined into a single MP4.

Is vidsave free?

Yes. There's no sign-up, no app to install and no watermark added by vidsave.

Where does the downloaded file go?

Your browser saves it like any other download: the Downloads folder on a computer, Files on iPhone (Downloads folder) and the Downloads folder or Files app on Android. From there you can move it to your camera roll or gallery.

Is it legal to download videos?

It depends on the video and where you live. Downloading your own uploads, or videos the creator lets you reuse, is generally fine. Re-uploading other people's videos without permission usually isn't. When in doubt, ask the creator.
